Technical Track Design
About — The Practice

Engineering the world's fastest landscapes.

Technical Track Design is a specialized practice for the master-planning and high-precision engineering of race circuits. From greenfield feasibility and concept geometry through detail design, safety-systems modelling, and construction consultancy, we deliver venues built for sanctioned competition at every grade.

Established in 2020 and based in Salt Lake City, Utah, TTD has rapidly expanded its global footprint — delivering more than fifteen track designs across three continents and consulting on nearly a dozen existing, world-class racing facilities. Our work spans FIA International Circuits, FIM-graded motorcycle venues, karting tracks, and private test facilities.

We work for circuit owners, motorsport promoters, automotive manufacturers, and private test-facility operators — clients who need a circuit that is both safe and compelling to drive. Every project is grounded in topographic survey, validated with in-house speed simulations, and carried through federation submission, audit, and Grade certification.

The practice is led by Bryce Engelhart. A veteran of the motorsports industry with nearly 20 years of experience as a driver, coach, team owner and circuit designer. The result is a track that is safe, thrilling and profitable to operate.
